Grading Foreman/Operator

Location: Nash, Wilson, Pitt, and Wake Counties, NC

Overview:
Hartsfield Contracting Company is seeking a dependable and experienced Grading Foreman/Operator to join our site development team. This key role involves supervising on-site grading operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate grading crews on active job sites

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, and dozers

• Perform land clearing, grading, and surface preparation tasks

• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment for all team members

• Ensure timely completion of tasks while upholding HCC’s standards of quality and safety

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment

• Proficient in using excavators, skid steers, and dozers

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and work independently

• Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive salary based on experience

• 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

• Overtime opportunities available

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to relocate to or reside in the Wilson, NC area prior to starting work

• Work is performed on various sites throughout Nash, Wilson, Pitt, and Wake counties
